Hi there,
I'm Abhinav.
I am an interdisciplinary designer that loves making different things with different tools. I believe we do only think through our tools; like languages, knowing as many tools as we can lets people work through things more open-mindedly — and, at its best, create systems, moments, and memories that really move people to engage with our stories in ways that resonate with them.
Born 'n' raised in Montreal, Canada, I was obsessed with everything expo '67; not only had I come to love the history of it and how it made the city into what it is today, I had come to love the timelessness of all its different graphic, typographic, and architectural languages; how it embodied people's desires for a more culturally aware, future-minded, and connected world.
In New York City, I developed my know-how; my architectural training, my cognitive architectural research, and nurturing my capacity for listening to and working with different people. I am known not only for energizing cross-disciplinary teams, but motivating and aligning disparate stakeholders with stakes across the different phases of even the most complex brand, spatial, experiential, and architectural challenges.
Are you starting a creative project / creative work? From holistic branding work to specific things like prototyping, contact cards, stationery, sites, events, exhibitions, signage and wayfinding, presentations, or designing RFPs/ winning RFP responses for a project you did not even know your company could win, let's get together and make your creative vision a reality.
In NYC, I started developing my architectural training, my cognitive architectural research work, and capacity for listening to and working with people — I am excited not only energizing cross-disciplinary teams, but motivating and aligning disparate stakeholders with stakes across different phases of even the most complex brand, spatial, experiential, and architectural projects in the city.
I'm an interdisciplinary designer that loves making different things with different tools. I believe that we do, indeed, only think through our tools; that is, the notion that knowing as many tools as we can lets people think through things more open-mindedly — and create systems, moments, and memories that move people to engage with our stories in ways that really resonate with them.
